The Annual Colin Fowles Memorial Cup, for Select National Youth Programs from the Caribbean, Academy Level & Regional Select Programs from within the USA + Invited Teams.

Colin Fowles was a former Coral Springs, FL resident & National US-Team Player who played collegiately for Long Island University where I was his captain, and then became a household-name with our NASL's storied Ft. Lauderdale Strikers, before meeting an untimely demise at a soccer-game in Miami in 1985. This tournament is a tribute to the excellence, achievement & work ethic he represented for this fascinating game. The 'ballisround' concept represents those infinite opportunities for creativity & opportunity that continue to be derived from this beautiful game whose ball has no beginning or end! 

In the coming weeks as we attack the goal of January 2013, we reflect on our choice of the weekend that commemorates the Legacy of a Global Hero: Dr. Martin Luther King, to also honour the legacy of one of Team USA's finest citizens and we look forward to your participation in our quest for excellence. Take 2 touches and keep this ball moving!
